Urgent support for households deeply flooded in Hoang Mai
(Baonghean.vn) - The Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai town have organized support groups to households that are deeply submerged in floodwaters.
After more than a day of being submerged in floodwaters, up to now, many households in Hoang Mai town are still isolated.
In order to promptly help people overcome difficulties, on the afternoon of September 30, the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai town organized emergency support groups for households in flood-hit areas.

Currently, the most difficult thing for people in flood-hit areas is that they are still isolated, and there is a shortage of clean water and food.
Mr. Tran Van Tuan - Vice Chairman of Quynh Trang Commune People's Committee said: The whole commune currently has 7/11 hamlets flooded, of which 185 households were severely flooded and have been evacuated, in addition, 100 households were affected, with water entering their houses. Currently, the commune is also closely monitoring the flood situation to promptly respond to any unusual situations that may occur.

Updated at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, the rain in Hoang Mai town has stopped, but the water level in deeply flooded areas is still receding very slowly. People are worried that if it continues to rain tonight and tomorrow morning, combined with rising tides, the water level will be at risk of rising.

Mr. Le Truong Giang - Secretary of Hoang Mai City Party Committee said: To help people overcome the current difficulties, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has assigned agencies, units, and organizations to grasp the situation and promptly support isolated people. Absolutely do not let people go hungry during the flood.
According to the latest update on the flood situation in Hoang Mai town, by 4:00 p.m. this afternoon, 3,385 households had their houses flooded, including 1,900 households in Mai Hung ward, 260 households in Quynh Thien, 185 households in Quynh Trang commune, 115 households in Quynh Xuan, 97 households in Quynh Lien, 558 households in Quynh Vinh, 120 households in Quynh Loc, and 150 households in Quynh Phuong. There were 144 households that had to be evacuated, including 30 households in Mai Hung ward, 15 households in Quynh Thien, 60 households in Quynh Trang, and 39 households in Quynh Vinh.
Previously, the Town People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 07/CD-UBND dated September 26, 2022 on proactively responding to storm No. 4 and post-storm circulation.
