Rewarding the task force that seized 30 heroin cakes in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - An illegal drug trafficking ring with a huge quantity of foreign leaders has just been dismantled by Nghe An Police, seizing 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth.
On the afternoon of December 24, Nghe An Provincial Police held an award ceremony for units participating in the fight against Project 226H, which arrested 5 Laotian subjects, seized 30 heroin bricks, 18 kg of crystal meth, and Project 252N, which arrested 1 subject, seized 10,000 synthetic drug pills. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director, Head of the Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police; Colonel Duong Hong Hai - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard.
Previously, the Drug Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Police discovered a drug ring with a large quantity from Laos to Vietnam led by Laotians. Project 226H was established to combat it.

(Baonghean.vn) - An illegal drug trafficking ring with a huge quantity of foreign leaders has just been dismantled by Nghe An Police, seizing 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth.
At around 3:00 a.m. on December 23, at the border area of Thanh Thuy Commune, Thanh Chuong District, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Police) coordinated with Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station and Nghe An Border Guard Command to arrest two subjects, Da Xia Tu Vang (born in 1996) and Vu Xong (born in 1999), both residing in Muong Kham Cot, Bolykhamxay Province, Laos. At the scene, 30 heroin cakes and 18 kg of crystal meth were seized. It is known that these two subjects are the ringleaders of this ring.
During the expanded investigation, the Task Force arrested three more suspects, Chia Do (born in 1964), Xom Chay (born in 1993) and Di Va (born in 1997), all residing in Bolikhamxay province, Laos. These three suspects were involved in the drug trafficking ring and received money for illegal drug trafficking.

Previously, through Project 252N, the authorities coordinated to arrest Mua Ba Xeng (born in 1998, residing in Na Ngoi commune, Ky Son district) - currently a student at a university in Vinh city, and seized 10,000 synthetic drug pills.
At the investigation agency, Mua Ba Xeng confessed that Xeng brought the above drugs from Laos to Vietnam for consumption. Xeng was the link between sellers in Laos and drug buyers in Vietnam. Once he had a lead, Xeng was also the one who directly received the goods from the subjects across the border to bring back to Vietnam for consumption.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director, Head of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency highly appreciated the determination, intelligence, courage and close coordination between the forces. At the same time, he emphasized that this achievement has contributed to the fight against and prevention of drug trafficking routes from Laos to Vietnam for consumption.
He requested that forces continue to fight strongly and resolutely against drug crimes, not only against transnational drug trafficking rings but also against drug trafficking activities in the area.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Nghe An province decided to reward the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Police) 40 million VND, and the units participating in solving the case under the Provincial Border Guard 20 million VND. The Director of Nghe An Provincial Police also rewarded the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Police) 5 million VND, and the units participating in solving the case under the Provincial Border Guard 5 million VND. The Provincial Border Guard Command awarded the Special Task Force 10 million VND.
