Commencement of construction; handover of gratitude houses to policy beneficiaries
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 9, the Nghe An Veterans Association held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a gratitude house for the family of veteran Hoang Kim Dung, in Xuan Huong hamlet, Huong Son commune (Tan Ky). On the same afternoon, the Nghe An Border Guard Command coordinated with Dien Trung commune (Dien Chau) to hand over the gratitude house to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ba.
* Mr. Hoang Kim Dung is 65 years old this year, in a particularly difficult situation, both husband and wife are often sick. For a long time, his family has lived in a dilapidated, leaky 2-room house.
Faced with his family's difficult circumstances, the Nghe An Veterans Association coordinated with the Vingroup Thien Tam Fund to support 50 million VND for him to rebuild the house, the rest came from family resources and contributions from neighbors.

On this occasion, in Tan Ky district, there were 2 more families of war veterans in Phu Son and Tien Ky communes who were poor households with housing difficulties and were supported to build houses, to encourage the families of war veterans to strive to overcome difficulties and gradually improve their lives.
*Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Ba in Hamlet 6, Dien Trung Commune (Dien Chau) is taken care of and supported monthly by officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard.
The house of gratitude was built with a budget of over 100 million VND. Of which, 70 million VND was supported by the Border Guard Command of Nghe An, Dien Chau district and Dien Trung commune. The remaining funding was mobilized from charitable groups and individuals. Along with the contributions and assistance of relatives and neighbors.

After more than 1 month of construction, the 3-room house with an area of 50m2 Completed and put into use, helping Mother Nguyen Thi Ba enjoy her old age with peace of mind.
At the handover ceremony of the House of Gratitude, the Nghe An Border Guard Command and local authorities presented meaningful gifts to Mother Nguyen Thi Ba's family.
