Emulation Block No. VII, General Department of Market Management deploys tasks for 2024

Attending the event were comrades: Hoang Anh Duong - Deputy Director General of the General Department of Market Management; Le Thi Kim Oanh - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee; and representatives of the Market Management Department of 6 North Central provinces: Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An.

Emulation Block No. VII includes 06 Market Management Departments of the provinces: Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

In 2023, the Market Management Department of Nghe An province was assigned the task of Head of Emulation Block No. VII, General Department of Market Management. Last year, the economy took place in a context of many difficulties and challenges; the situation of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, intellectual property infringement and food safety was complicated in the provinces and cities, with increasingly sophisticated methods and tricks; however, the units in the Block made great efforts to complete all assigned tasks.

In 2023, the market management force of 6 provinces inspected and controlled 8,282 cases of units under the bloc, handling 7,275 cases. The total amount paid to the budget was 30.8952 billion VND/29.5 billion VND target of all 6 provinces, reaching 105%. Of which, the amount collected for administrative fines was nearly 23 billion VND; the amount collected from confiscated goods was more than 8.1 billion VND; and the illegal profits were forced to be returned was over 23 million VND.

In 2023, in order to successfully implement the assigned goals and tasks, Emulation Bloc No. VII implemented the content of signing the emulation covenant and achieved many outstanding results. The units have seriously and effectively implemented the programs and plans, many units have achieved outstanding achievements in the emulation movement launched by the Central, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the General Department of Market Management and localities. In the special emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the General Department of Market Management, 02 units in the Bloc were awarded Certificates of Merit by the General Director; Many collectives and individuals of the units were awarded and proposed to be awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Steering Committee 389, the National Steering Committee 389, Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee, Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee, Certificates of Merit of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Certificates of Merit of the Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Youth Union, Central Youth Union... At the same time, actively contributing ideas to innovate and improve the quality of activities of the Emulation Bloc.

To effectively implement the emulation and reward work in 2024, the Emulation Block No. VII of the North Central Market Management has set out a number of key tasks, in which it strives for 100% of units in the Block to complete and exceed the planned targets. Continuously improve the quality of civil servants according to the Project on reorganizing the apparatus and the operational efficiency of the unit. Along with that, promote administrative reform, exchange of learning, and experience exchange in emulation and reward work and culture and sports to promote the spirit of cooperation, solidarity, and mutual development.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Anh Duong - Deputy Director General of the General Department of Market Management highly appreciated the results achieved by Emulation Block No. VII. In 2023, the Departments have strived to overcome many difficulties to complete the assigned tasks; the results achieved by the units in the Block have contributed to the construction, stabilization and development of the socio-economic and political situation of the localities.

The Deputy Director General of the General Department of Market Management also hopes that the Emulation Bloc will innovate the content and form of movements to improve the effectiveness of emulation work, thereby enhancing political and professional tasks.

At the conference, the emulation agreement signing ceremony took place; the announcement of the block leader and deputy block leader in 2024, and the transfer of the block leader's duties to the Thanh Hoa Market Management Department.
