Previously, on the night of August 31, 2020, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, residing in Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district, was driving a motorbike across Hoang Mai bridge in Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town when a stranger driving a motorbike without a license plate snatched a handbag containing an Iphone X and nearly 2 million VND in cash, along with many important documents.
The incident was reported to Hoang Mai Town Police. After receiving the information, Hoang Mai Town Police promptly began investigating and deployed forces to capture the subject who committed the robbery. On September 2, 2020, Hoang Mai Town Police arrested Bui Xuan Van, the person who committed the above robbery.
After committing the crime, the subject took all of the victim's money and phone, threw her handbag and documents on the side of the road, and went home.
The case is currently under investigation and clarification.
