Identify the role ofadministrative reformRegarding socio-economic development, Anh Son district has included this content in the key tasks of the Resolution of the District Party Congress; advised on the issuance of a specialized resolution on administrative reform to direct implementation.
Accordingly, along with setting out administrative reform tasks, Anh Son District People's Committee has issued many directive documents and reported implementation results. Anh Son District has organized specialized conferences on administrative reform to assign specific tasks to agencies, units, communes, and villages to implement in conjunction with their functions and tasks.
The district focuses on directing departments, offices, and towns to focus on resolving administrative procedures for people and businesses.

Anh Son district has organized a sociological survey to determine the commune-level administrative reform index, score and evaluate the annual administrative reform work in a democratic, public, honest and timely manner, creating motivation to strive among agencies, units, communes and towns.
In 2019, Anh Son district received (including 2018) 12,979 records. Number of records resolved: 12,917 records. Of which, early return: 457 records; on-time return: 12,460 records; no overdue return records.
In 2020, total number of received applications: 3,673 applications, number of applications resolved: 3,673 applications. Of which, early return: 102 applications, on-time return: 3,558 applications, overdue return: 13 applications.
In addition, focus on implementing the arrangement of organizational apparatus under management authority such as: merging and consolidating district-level public service units, implementing consolidation and reducing the number of focal points of district-level public service units.
At the same time, Anh Son district regularly focuses on training and updating knowledge, leadership capacity, job positions and expertise to meet the requirements of the job position and better perform assigned tasks and duties.

Annually, the People's CommitteeAnh Son districtIssue decisions on granting autonomy in staffing and funding to public service agencies and units in accordance with the provisions of law. Promote the application of information technology in document management and operation, exchange between administrative agencies on information technology software, office to ensure timely and accurate operation, document processing, and information, contributing to administrative modernization.
At the same time, the District People's Committee pays attention to and promotes activities towards businesses and entrepreneurs, creating favorable conditions for businesses to operate.
Raise the responsibility of officials and civil servants
Through inspections at departments and offices under the District People's Committee and the communes of Cao Son and Hung Son, the inspection team pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in administrative reform work such as: incomplete statistics on reviewing administrative procedures at the commune level; difficult to implement level 3 and 4 public services according to the set goals; renovating and upgrading the one-stop department of the District People's Committee, improving the quality of evaluating and classifying cadres and civil servants...
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Tran Quoc Chung acknowledged that Anh Son district is one of the localities with many good solutions and methods in implementing administrative reform.

At the same time, it is recommended that localities continue to synchronously implement solutions: improve the quality of issuing documents, review documents to reduce and streamline procedures and time for handling administrative procedures under their authority.
