Agricultural, forestry and fishery export turnover in 11 months reached 27.41 billion USD
According to figures just released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the first 11 months of 2015 reached 27.41 billion USD, down 1.9% compared to the same period in 2014.

Of which, the export value of main agricultural products is estimated at 12.74 billion USD, down 4% compared to the same period in 2014. In particular, there was a sharp decrease in products such as coffee (30.2%), rubber (15.5%).
Along with difficulties with major agricultural products, the value of seafood exports in the first 11 months of 2015 reached 6.01 billion USD, down 16.4% compared to the same period in 2014. The United States remains the leading import market for Vietnamese seafood, accounting for 19.71% of total export value. In the first 10 months, seafood exports to this market reached 1.06 billion USD, down 25.21% compared to the same period in 2014. Exports to Japan and South Korea also decreased significantly with decreases of 13.36% and 13.59% respectively. Exports grew notably in markets such as Thailand (up 19.77%) and the UK (up 9.11%).
Meanwhile, forestry products have maintained stable growth. The estimated export value of wood and wood products in the first 11 months of 2015 reached 6.1 billion USD, up 8.6% over the same period in 2014. The United States, Japan and China are the three largest import markets of Vietnam./.
