(Baonghean.vn) - On July 24, the People's Committee of Ky Son district issued a decision to declare the end of African swine fever in 5 communes: Dooc May, Bao Thang, Nam Can, Tay Son and My Ly.

African swine fever broke out in Ky Son district on May 22. After 2 months, the disease has spread to 64 villages of 17 communes. The total number of infected pigs that have been culled is 1,710, with a total weight of over 53 tons.
To promptly prevent and control the epidemic, the People's Committee of Ky Son district has allocated more than 439 million VND from the reserve budget to buy lime powder, chemicals, protective gear...

Mr. Nguyen Cong Hieu - Head of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station of Ky Son district said that on July 24, the District People's Committee issued 5 decisions to declare the end of the epidemic in 5 communes: Dooc May, Bao Thang, Nam Can, Tay Son and My Ly.
Thus, up to now, in Ky Son area, there are still 12 communes with African swine fever: Muong Tip, Huu Kiem, Chieu Luu, Ta Ca, Bao Thang, Keng Du, Muong Xen town, Muong Ai, Na Loi, Bac Ly, Bao Nam and Pha Danh.
