Ky Son urgently calls for support and builds 1,000 houses for the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - Local authorities are urgently carrying out construction while calling for "counterpart capital" to build, and it is expected that by the end of June 2023, 1,000 houses will be completed and handed over to the people.
Implementing the campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households and people with housing difficulties in the whole province, in the first campaign, the people of Ky Son district were supported with 1,000 houses from the appeal of police officers and soldiers.
Specifically, the Ministry of Public Security mobilized support for 500 houses, and the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police called for support for 500 houses.
The form of support includes 1,000 steel frame houses assembled on reinforced concrete foundations, each house worth 50 million VND, area 56m22.

Currently, all levels of sectors and localities in Ky Son district are urgently implementing construction while calling for "counterpart capital" to build, and it is expected that by the end of June 2023, 1,000 houses will be completed and handed over to the people.
On the morning of March 9, 2023, at the 7th thematic meeting of the People's Council of Ky Son district, before implementing the contents, Comrade Vi Hoe - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council launched a call for individuals and organizations in the district to support the construction of houses for poor households and people with difficult housing circumstances.
To complete construction and assembly, households need to complete the construction of the concrete foundation according to the designed technical standards. Construction cost is about 5 million VND/foundation.

Most of the households receiving housing support this time are poor households, households with especially difficult circumstances, so they do not have money to "co-pay" for building the foundation of the house. Therefore, the entire cost of 2.5 billion VND to build 500 foundations of the first phase needs support from the community.
Therefore, to meet the expected progress, the Standing Committee of Ky Son District Party Committee has called on cadres, civil servants, and public employees of agencies, units, and localities in the district to support this humane work.
At the campaign, delegates of the District People's Council, agencies, units and individuals in Ky Son area donated nearly 2.4 billion VND.
Of which, individuals registered to donate nearly 198 million VND; agencies and units registered to donate more than 2.2 billion VND.
The remaining funds will be contacted and mobilized by the leaders of Ky Son district.

Mr. Vi Hoe - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council said that currently, local authorities are urgently working with families and officials at all levels to dismantle houses, help households stabilize temporary housing, and carry out house foundation construction to ensure technical design standards before assembling.
It is expected that by the end of June 2023, Ky Son will complete 1,000 houses and hand them over to households. Of which, it is expected that by the end of April 2023, 500 houses in 9 communes will be completed./.
