Fishing boat and 17 fishermen from Nghe An safely towed to shore
(Baonghean.vn) - After 4 days of engine failure and drifting offshore, a fishing boat of fishermen in Quynh Long commune (Quynh Luu) was safely towed to Lach Quen port.
On the evening of June 10, fishing boat NA 98683 TS towed fishing boat NA 97879 TS, captained by fisherman Tran Van Ai (residing in Cong Hoa village, Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu), along with 17 fishermen from offshore waters to shore safely.

Although the fishermen tried to fix the problem but were unsuccessful, Captain Tran Van Ai contacted the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center and the Nghe An Border Guard Command, and called on fishing boats and teams operating in the same fishing grounds to come to the rescue.

After 4 days of having an accident at sea, at 8:00 p.m. on June 10, fishing boat NA 97879 TS was towed to Lach Quen port, Quynh Luu district, by fishing boat NA 98683 TS, owned by fisherman Tran Van Nam, also residing in the area, safely. The health of all crew members on board is stable.
