(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, on National Highway 1A passing through Hoang Mai and Quynh Luu towns, the encroachment of roadsides and sidewalks to gather construction materials and trade wood has been quite common, causing traffic insecurity and environmental pollution, but has not been thoroughly handled.

Present on National Highway 1A, section through Quynh Van commune, districtQuynh LuuIn Quynh Xuan commune, Hoang Mai town, it is easy to see a series of construction material storage yards (stone, sand), and brick making facilities brazenly occupying the roadway and sidewalks as a place to gather goods. Some gravel storage yards spill out onto the roadway, and the sidewalks along National Highway 1A are piled high with bricks.

During the construction season like now, a series of machine dashboard assembly facilities are running at full capacity, the noise of machinery and dust when passing through this National Highway 1A.

A resident of Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district said: Every day, there are trucks and dump trucks entering and exiting, parking, loading and unloading materials to different places, making the traffic situation in this area complicated, especially during peak hours when students leave school and workers get off work, causing congestion and risk.traffic accidentis very high.

Mr. Nguyen The Lai - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Van Commune, Quynh Luu District said: Currently, the whole commune has over 30 brick and tile manufacturing establishments, of which 6 establishments regularly encroach on the roadside and sidewalk of National Highway 1A. The commune has repeatedly propagated, mobilized, and administratively fined each household over 2 million VND for violations. However, they still "kidnap and abandon the plate", after being fined, the households re-offend!

The most dangerous part at present is along National Highway 1A, passing through Hamlet 10, Quynh Thach Commune, where large wood workshops are gathered and operating right along National Highway 1, causing traffic accidents. According to observations of a facility in this area, during the process of transporting wood to the workshop, the wood forklift was going in the opposite direction of the National Highway, the logs were 3-4 meters wide and occupied the entire roadway. Vehicles passing through here were extremely indignant at the behavior of the wood forklifts transporting wood in a "reckless" manner.

Next door is another timber facility, which has parked a large crane right on the side of National Highway 1A to load and unload timber (although the inside of the timber yard is still empty). The timber crane also has 4 extended legs, occupying the entire roadway of National Highway 1A, blocking the visibility of other vehicles.

Although the development of clamshell production and wood trading has created jobs for many local workers, contributing significantly to the local economic development. However, besides the economic benefits, there are many consequences behind. As above basisAll occupy land, destroy traffic infrastructure such as drainage ditches along the route, covers, and road markers to gather goods, causing traffic obstruction and the risk of traffic accidents is always latent.

Therefore, the locality needs to conduct inspections and thoroughly handle violations to restore order in traffic safety corridors, roads, sidewalks, and prevent traffic congestion. For dashboard businesses and wood workshops, there needs to be a planning solution to relocate to a safe place.
