(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 2, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan.

77 years ago at the historic Ba Dinh Square, on behalf of the provisional government, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence, declaring to the people of the whole country and all of humanity the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
September 2, 1945 has gone down in the history of our nation's building and defending as the most brilliant milestone, affirming the independence and freedom of the Vietnamese nation and the Vietnamese people, under the talented and wise leadership of the Party.

77 years have passed, but President Ho Chi Minh's views and thoughts expressed in the Declaration of Independence on human rights, national rights, and the aspiration and spirit of steadfast struggle to maintain independence and freedom are still relevant and have a particularly profound significance in the current cause of national construction and protection.
