Provincial leaders visited and expressed condolences to the family of the medical staff who had an accident in Ky Son.

On the afternoon of August 6, a working delegation led by Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. Luong Van Son - former Deputy Director.Ky Son District Medical Centerlost in a traffic accident while on duty

Also attending were Associate Professor Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Long - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Health and Comrade Thai Thanh Quy -Member of the Party Central Committee,The Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An Province sent a wreath of condolences to the victim's family.

Previously, at about 11:32 p.m. on August 5, on National Highway 7A, a road section in Dinh Son Commune, Anh Son District, a serious accident occurred, causing 4 casualties. The pickup truck driven by Mr. Luong Van Son - Deputy Director of Ky Son District Medical Center, collided head-on with a truck going in the opposite direction.

The strong collision caused comrade Luong Van Son to die on the spot, the remaining 3 people in the car were all seriously injured. Of which 2 had to be transferred to Nghe An General Hospital, 1 person is being treated at Tay Nam Nghe An General Hospital. All 4 victims in the accident were officers, nurses and doctors of Ky Son District Medical Center.

Sharing with the families of the unfortunate victims, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, comrade Bui Dinh Long encouraged the families of the deceased victims and visited the Southwest Regional General Hospital and the Provincial General Friendship Hospital to visit and encourage the three medical staff who were injured and were being treated there.
