Before listening to the report of the Steering Committee for New Rural Area Construction of the Town, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation went to survey the localities and listened to people's opinions on the process of building New Rural Areas.

The report on the results of the implementation of the new rural construction of Thai Hoa Town shows that, in the past 5 years, the total investment resources for the new rural construction are more than 2.3 trillion VND. Of which, ODA capital is 280 billion VND, the central budget is more than 651 billion VND, the provincial budget is nearly 549 billion VND, the town budget is nearly 155 billion VND, the commune budget is more than 41 billion VND, the people's contribution is nearly 413 billion VND and other sources are nearly 217 billion VND.

Mr. Le Phuc An - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Thai Hoa Town People's Committee reported on the results of new rural construction in Thai Hoa Town.

The town has renovated, upgraded, and renovated nearly 302 km of rural and intra-field roads, bringing the total number of concrete and asphalt roads to 448.7/499.7 km.

The town has always maintained a stable rice production area of ​​770 hectares, annually prioritizing the production of rice varieties that ensure high productivity and quality. The town's strong industrial rubber crop has a scale of 1,700 hectares, in addition to a stable planning of 1,000 hectares of raw sugarcane.

The town focuses on improving and domesticating cow herds, developing dairy cow herds, breeding cow herds, building concentrated farms according to planning, creating conditions for people to develop livestock in an industrial direction. The trade and service sectors have gradually developed in quantity and quality. The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life in the area has achieved many important results, contributing to the completion of the goals and resolutions on "agriculture, farmers, rural areas". The grassroots health network has been consolidated and developed in terms of material resources, medical staff, doctors... Average income per capita in 2014 reached 28.41 million VND, in 2015 it is expected to reach 30.09 million VND/person. From the achieved results, the Provincial People's Committee has assessed and recognized 6/6 communes in the town meeting the NTM standards.

After listening to the re-evaluation opinions of the meeting members, comrade Dinh Viet Hong and the Provincial New Rural Area Appraisal Council agreed to propose that all levels recognize Thai Hoa Town as the first district-level unit of the province to complete the criteria for building a new rural area.
