Leaders of Thai Hoa town inspect and direct the work of preventing storm Mangkhut
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to proactively respond and promptly handle the impact of the circulation of storm No. 6 (storm Mangkhut), on the afternoon of September 16, the leaders of Thai Hoa town inspected and directed storm and flood prevention work at some key locations in the area.
Due to the impact of storm No. 6 (storm Mangkhut), it is forecasted that Nghe An province in general and Thai Hoa town in particular will have heavy to very heavy rain; the risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides is very high.

Faced with that situation, the leaders of Thai Hoa town inspected and directed flood and storm prevention work at some key locations such as: construction works under construction, irrigation works, dams, schools, and locations at risk of landslides throughout the town.
At the inspection sites, the working group requested localities and construction units to closely monitor weather developments. Proactively take measures and plans to prevent and combat; there must be specific plans to respond to natural disasters, not to be negligent or subjective, ensuring the safety of people and property. Organize the installation of warning signs in areas at risk of flooding and landslides; evacuate people and machinery to safe places./.
