Taking samples for testing of a girl from Nghe An who had close contact with 'case 122'

On the afternoon of March 24, the Center for Disease Control of Ha Tinh province said that it had not yet received the Covid-19 test results of the girl from Nghi Loc district, Nghe An. The sample of this person was sent to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology that same night, after the Ministry of Health announced information about "case 122".

Before returning to Vietnam through Cau Treo border gate, this girl worked in Thailand and met and came into contact with patient 122 (currently being treated and quarantined in Da Nang).

Immediately after screening, the specialized sector took this person and 14 others to the Cau Treo International Border Gate Regional General Hospital for quarantine and monitoring. According to doctors, the health of all these cases is currently normal.

Previously, the Ministry of Health announced the 122nd Covid-19 case in Vietnam, a female patient (24 years old, from Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province). The patient is a bar employee in Bangkok - Thailand, who had contact with many people who did not wear masks. On March 20, patient 122 returned to Vietnam at Da Nang International Airport and was quarantined at the National Defense Education Center - Military Region V. The Da Nang Center for Disease Control took samples for testing and the test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2./.
