According to Yen Thanh district report: From June 13 to now, Yen Thanh district has recorded 130 cases of Covid-19 infection in 21 communes. Of which, 31 cases were detected in the community in 12 communes.

Currently, Yen Thanh district has 3 clusters of F0 cases in the community, including: Cluster of cases from Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College (35 F0 cases, 623 F1, 2,059 F2); Cluster of F0 cases in Do Thanh commune (10 F0 cases, 148 F1 and 497 F2); Cluster of F0 cases from Vietnam - Japan Garment Company (MLB) (10 F0 cases, 230 F1 and 1,498 F2)...

Currently, Yen Thanh district is quarantining 1,976 cases at 87 locations; quarantining at home for 4,897 cases. On August 24 and 25, the district still had 12 people from the epidemic area returning to the locality... The whole district has 3,960 people vaccinated against Covid-19, accounting for 1.52% of people aged 18 and over in the district.

According to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Yen Thanh District: There have been many community infections in the district, with the source of infection yet to be determined. The risk of a widespread outbreak in Yen Thanh District is very high.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province and Yen Thanh district focused on clearly analyzing the sources of infection and assessing the risk of infection in communes such as Nhan Thanh, Cong Thanh, Do Thanh, Hoa Thanh, Nam Thanh, Phuc Thanh, Van Thanh, Tang Thanh, Khanh Thanh...

The Health Sector and Yen Thanh District focused on collecting PCR samples for large-scale screening in the entire Nhan Thanh Commune (over 9,000 people) and 1 hamlet of Hoa Thanh Commune on the evening of August 26. The Health Sector mobilized 50 medical staff to support Yen Thanh District in collecting samples; Vinh City General Hospital conducted screening tests for Yen Thanh District during this period.

HYen Thanh district needs to closely monitor the epidemic situation, report promptly; continue to strictly implement social isolation regulations to prevent and control the epidemic; actively investigate, trace, and not miss people related to infected cases./.
