Opening ceremony without loudspeakers, without flowers of 9 Dan Lai ethnic students
(Baonghean.vn) - Along with schools across the country, Thach Ngan 2 Primary School, Con Cuong District - Ke Tat - Pa Ha remote location held an opening ceremony for 25 students, including 9 Dan Lai students who had just moved from the core area of Pu Mat National Forest.
This is the first school built to teach children of Dan Lai ethnic people in Ke Tat - Pa Ha resettlement area who moved to a new place at the end of July.
At the end of July, Con Cuong district organized the relocation of 22 households of the Dan Lai ethnic group in the upstream of Khe Khang in the core area of Pu Mat National Park to the resettlement area in Ke Tat - Pa Ha village, Thach Ngan commune.

Ke Tat - Pa Ha resettlement area, Thach Ngan commune, is about 25 km from the district center. Here, the number of school-age children includes: 2 preschool children, 9 primary school children and 4 secondary school children.

To help the children quickly integrate into life in their new homeland, right from the beginning, Thach Ngan 2 Primary School sent teachers to mobilize 16 Thai students from Pa Ha village to study with 9 Dan Lai students at the new remote location, so that they could get to know each other and study together.
To encourage the children, each teacher gave clothes, books and gave 6 students in Pa Ha village a bicycle each to help them get to school more conveniently.
Regarding the basic school facilities, they have been fully prepared. The 2019-2020 school year is the first year that the satellite school in the Ke Tat - Pa Ha resettlement area has started teaching and learning. Teachers and students are ready to enter the new school year.
