Signing ceremony of cooperation between Vinh University of Industry and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry

On the morning of June 4, Vinh University of Industry held a signing ceremony of cooperation between the school and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry.

Attending the signing ceremony were: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission; Dr. Phan Thi Kim Oanh - Deputy Head of the Office of the President, representatives of a number of departments, branches, and sectors, representatives of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and leaders of Vinh University of Industry through the periods. Vinh University of Industry was formerly Nghe An campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry from 2008 to 2013. After 5 years of operation, the training products of Nghe An campus have been recognized by society, with more than 8,000 graduates. Up to now, many alumni of the school trained by Nghe An campus have been successful in many fields of work.

Based on the achieved results, from 2022, Vinh University of Industry will continue to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry to sign a cooperation agreement with many contents. That is cooperation in building and developing training programs, exchanging information and learning materials in university training.

In addition, cooperation in teaching, scientific research, academic exchange, participation in training activities, professional development, advanced training for master's and doctoral degrees for lecturers of Vinh University of Industry.

Both units will also cooperate in student recruitment and exchange. Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry supports Vinh University of Industry to transfer students to study at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry for the remaining time and receive a graduation certificate from Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry if they meet the school's admission and training criteria.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Manh Ha affirmed: The training cooperation between the two units is of great significance to Vinh University of Industry and is the basis for the school to improve the quality of training, contributing to providing qualified human resources for industrial parks in Nghe An province as well as other provinces in the region.

To improve the effectiveness of training cooperation, Vinh University of Industry will continue to innovate management, training methods, build and update training programs according to the training program reference of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry. At the same time, prepare adequate facilities and equipment for training, meet the training program, build a dynamic academic environment, actively apply digital transformation in the field of enrollment and training.
