Schedule for announcing the 10th grade entrance exam scores in Nghe An.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam saw over 44,000 candidates participating throughout Nghe An province. From June 15th, 2024, the Department of Education and Training announced the 10th grade entrance exam scores and the entrance exam scores for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School.

Currently, the Department of Education and Training has announced the cutoff scores for Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School and will continue to review additional applications if there are available slots.

According to the schedule, on July 4, 2024, the Department will review the admissions for the Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School and Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2, and conduct supplementary review on July 9.

According to the Department's plan, starting from July 12th,Public high schools only accept first-choice applications.The first round of admissions will take place. From July 16th onwards, public high schools will only accept first-choice applications for the second round of admissions, and the third round will take place on July 31st.

On July 19th, Huynh Thuc Khang, Ha Huy Tap, and Le Viet Thuan High Schools will conduct the first round of admissions for classes following the advanced school model in line with international integration trends, and the second round will be reviewed on July 22nd.

July 25th,Public high schools accept second-choice applications.The first round of admissions will take place on July 29th, the second round on July 29th, and the third round on August 2nd.

For private schools,This year, the first round of admissions will be on August 6th, the second round on August 12th, and the third round on August 16th.

By August 19th, public high schools that only accept first-choice applications will submit their final lists of admitted students for approval via the system; on August 21st, public high schools that accept second-choice applications will submit their final lists for approval; and on August 23rd, private high schools will submit their final lists of admitted students for approval.

According to the Department's guidelines, this year the admissions review process will be conducted online through the system, and the system must be opened and closed according to schedule. Once the deadline, the assigned reviewer or administrator will lock the system to finalize the list of admitted students.

Outside of the above timeframe, the Department's system administrator will open the system upon the request of the units to make changes or conduct additional recruitment rounds (if any).

Schools that conduct the initial admissions process must promptly announce the list of admitted students and request parents and students to confirm their enrollment. They must then finalize the list on the system so that subsequent schools can proceed with the selection process.

Specifically for Huynh Thuc Khang, Ha Huy Tap, and Le Viet Thuat High Schools, after reviewing the list of students admitted to the advanced classes based on international English and Informatics proficiency certificates, the schools will notify students to confirm their enrollment. If students have confirmed their enrollment, they are not eligible to participate in the selection process based on exam scores for their first choice and for the advanced class based on exam scores.

Students admitted to the advanced class based on their exam scores and who have confirmed their enrollment are not eligible to participate in the selection process based on exam scores for their first, second, and third choices.

For private high schools, in cases where students have graduated from junior high school but did not participate in the entrance exam for grade 10, if they wish to be considered for admission based on their academic performance and conduct in junior high school (admission based on academic records) but have not registered on the online admissions system, the school will organize the direct collection of applications. After receiving the applications, the school will compile a list and enter the data into the software system to carry out the admission process.
