A series of road traffic projects in Nghe An are prioritized for investment in the period 2026 - 2030
Ben Thuy 3 Bridge in Hung Hoa Commune, Vinh City connecting with Nghi Xuan District, Ha Tinh Province; Vinh – Thanh Thuy Expressway (part of the Hanoi – Vientiane Expressway) are 2 of the projects prioritized for investment.
The Prime Minister requested that in the 2026 - 2030 period, priority be given to implementing infrastructure projects that create great spillover effects and inter-regional connectivity, especially connecting strategic transport infrastructure of Nghe An province.
This is the content of Decision No. 625/QD-TTg promulgating the Plan to implement the Planning of Nghe An province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on behalf of the Prime Minister.
In principle, public investment capital will be allocated to prioritize investment in infrastructure completion projects from projects that have been and are being implemented from public investment capital to promote the effectiveness of works and projects; using public investment to activate all social resources.
At the same time, prioritize the implementation of infrastructure projects that create great spillover effects and inter-regional connectivity, especially prioritizing the connection of the province's strategic transport infrastructure.
Accordingly, the Plan has issued a list of priority investment projects for the period 2026 - 2030, including many road traffic projects in the province such as:
- Investment project to build Ben Thuy 3 bridge, in Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city connecting with Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province; from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Investment projects to upgrade and expand provincial road 536 Nam Cam - Cua Lo and coastal road Nghi Son - Cua Lo through Cua Lo town to form a bypass to the east of Vinh city; from public investment capital in the 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030 periods.
- Investment project to build extended provincial road 545 (Sen - So route) from Ho Chi Minh road to National Highway 7B; from public investment capital in the 2021 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030 periods.
- Investment project to build the section from Ho Chi Minh road connecting National Highway 48E Tan Long, Tan Ky (extended section of the road connecting from National Highway 7C (Do Luong) to Ho Chi Minh road (Tan Ky); from public investment capital in the period 2026 - 2030.
- Projects to upgrade provincial road 534C to Veu border gate (planned as National Highway 7D), provincial road 541B to Tam Hop border gate (planned as National Highway 7E); from public investment capital in the period 2026 - 2030.
- Investment project to build a road connecting National Highway 1A from Yen Ly (Dien Chau) to Nghi Son - Cua Lo coastal road; from public investment capital in the period 2026 - 2030.
- Investment and construction project of Vinh - Thanh Thuy expressway (part of Hanoi - Vientiane expressway); from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Project to upgrade and expand National Highway 7C, Nghi Loc - Do Luong section; from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Project to upgrade and expand National Highway 48 from Yen Ly to Quy Hop and from Quy Hop to Que Phong; from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Project to upgrade and expand National Highway 48E from National Highway 7 to National Highway 1, avoiding Vinh; from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Project to upgrade and expand National Highway 15, Tan Ky - Do Luong section; from public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030 and other capital sources.
- Investment project to build a route connecting National Highway 45 (Thanh Hoa) and National Highway 48 (Nghe An); from public investment capital in the period 2026 - 2030.
