(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of the time when all officers and workers of Viet Anh Company were off work to return to their hometowns, thieves broke in and stole a 235-liter DIEZEN oil drum and 21 steel bars of various types, with a total loss of about 9 million VND.
On July 22, Anh Son District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining 4 subjects including: Nguyen Quang Luong, Nguyen Quang Tuyen, Tran Van Dong and Nguyen Thi Hong to investigate and clarify the act of "Theft of property" on the site.
Previously, on July 16, Anh Son District Police received a report from Mr. Nguyen Sy Thang, warehouse manager of Viet Anh Investment, Construction, Service and Trade Joint Stock Company, about a thief stealing a 235-liter DIEZEN oil drum and 21 steel bars of various types gathered in Yen Hoa village, Hoa Son commune (Anh Son).
Immediately after receiving the news, the leaders of Anh Son District Police directed the Criminal Police - Economic - Drug Team to coordinate with Hoa Son Commune Police and Hoi Son Commune Police to focus on verifying and clarifying the case.
The investigation showed that Viet Anh Investment, Construction, Service and Trading Joint Stock Company is currently constructing a bridge, road and canal project in Hoa Son commune. Some managers and workers of the Company have rented accommodation at the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (born in 1972), residing in Yen Hoa village, Hoa Son commune and used the vacant land in front of Ms. Hong's house to gather construction materials such as: Diesel oil, iron and steel, cement...

Taking advantage of the time when all officers and workers of Viet Anh Company were off work to return to their hometowns, thieves broke in and stole a 235-liter DIEZEN oil drum and 21 steel bars of various types, with a total loss of about 9 million VND.
The area of Hoa Son commune is relatively large, the area where the theft occurred was sparsely populated, and it was raining heavily at the time of the theft, so there was almost no evidence left at the scene, and there were no witnesses who knew the details of the theft. Criminal investigation detectives coordinated with the commune police to compile a list and gather suspects to focus on verifying and fighting.
After a short time, Anh Son District Police collected sufficient evidence and arrested 4 subjects who committed the above theft, including: Nguyen Quang Luong (born in 1975), Nguyen Quang Tuyen (born in 1982), Tran Van Dong (born in 1974), residing in Hoi Son commune and Nguyen Thi Hong (born in 1972), residing in Yen Hoa village, Hoa Son for the act of property theft.
Through the investigation, taking advantage of the heavy rain and the time when all the staff and workers of Viet Anh Company were returning home, the four subjects discussed a plan to steal oil and steel to sell for money. When the police force conducted verification and investigation, the subjects tried every way to disperse the evidence and mislead the investigation agency.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by Anh Son District Police.
