215th Tank Brigade meets to celebrate Vietnam People's Army Founding Day
(Baonghean.vn) - For nearly 50 years, Brigade 215 has always excellently completed all assigned tasks and has always been one of the leading units in the emulation movement of the Armored Corps.
On the afternoon of December 21, the 215th Tank Brigade held a meeting to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2020) and the 31st anniversary of the National Defense Day. The meeting was attended by Major General Do Dinh Thanh - Commander of the Armored Corps. Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of localities and agencies in Quynh Luu district.

Brigade 215, stationed in Quynh Chau commune (Quynh Luu district), was formerly the 215th Tank Regiment, established on April 10, 1973, during the fierce period of the resistance war against the US to save the country. The birth of the 215th Tank Regiment reflected a new development step of the Tank Corps, demonstrating the trust of the Party, State and Army in the armored force in combined arms combat.

For nearly 50 years, the Brigade has always successfully completed all assigned tasks, and has always been one of the leading units in the emulation movement of the Corps in terms of combat readiness, training, discipline training, preservation of weapons and technical equipment, construction of bases, maintaining political stability in the stationed area, as well as helping localities develop the economy.
With its achievements, the unit has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and the State such as: First-class Fatherland Protection Medal; First-class Resistance Medal, Second-class Feat of Arms Medal; Title "Hero of the Armed Forces in the Renewal Period...
