Summer-autumn rice prices remain high
Rice priceToday (July 15) in the Mekong Delta region, the price of rice has decreased, while the price of paddy has remained stable. Accordingly, at An Giang warehouse, the price of IR 504 summer-autumn rice is being purchased by traders at 6,600 - 6,800 VND/kg, Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuates around 6,900 - 7,100 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice fluctuates at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 6,600 - 6,800 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is priced at 6,600 - 6,800 VND/kg; Nhat rice is also stable at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice (dry) is at 13,000 VND/kg.
According to traders, currently, the amount of rice imported is low, the price of rice tends to increase slightly. The summer-autumn rice market continues to be high, with many new transactions. At retail markets, the price of rice is usually at 11,500 - 12,500 VND/kg. The prices of other types of rice remain stable.
In the export market, export rice prices remained stable compared to the previous session. Specifically, 5% broken rice was traded at 513 USD/ton; 25% broken rice was at 493 USD/ton and Jasmine rice was stable at 578 USD/ton.
In the Asian rice market, Thai and Pakistani rice prices increased for another week. Currently, rice prices in Asia are at their highest level in more than 2 years as importers increase stockpiling due to concerns that El Nino will reduce crop output. Meanwhile, world rice prices - currently at an 11-year high - are forecast to increase further as the El Nino phenomenon is threatening crops in the world's leading rice producing countries.
Coffee prices continue to fall

Coffee prices in Dak Lak province today decreased by 200 VND/kg, in Cu M'gar district, coffee prices are currently at 65,000 VND/kg. In Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, coffee is purchased at the same price of 65,100 VND/kg.
In Dak Nong province, coffee decreased by 100 VND/kg, being purchased at the highest price of 65,300 VND/kg.
Domestic pepper prices remain stable

Specifically, Chu Se pepper price (Gia Lai) was purchased by traders at 67,000 VND/kg. Today's Dak Lak pepper price and pepper price in Dak Nong both remained at 68,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices today have not fluctuated compared to yesterday. Currently, pepper prices in this region are being purchased around the mark of 68,500 - 70,000 VND/kg.
In Dong Nai, pepper price is at 68,500 VND/kg. In Binh Phuoc, pepper price is at 69,000 VND/kg. Ba Ria Vung Tau pepper price is still the highest and today is purchased by traders at 70,000 VND/kg.
In the world market, according to the International Pepper Association (IPC), the price of Indonesian pepper has been updated and listed. Accordingly, the price of Lampung black pepper (Indonesia) closed at 3,740 USD/ton, up 0.72%; The price of Muntok white pepper was 6,474 USD/ton, up 0.7%. For the remaining countries, prices remained unchanged.
World oil prices reverse downward trend

At 8:48 p.m. on July 14 (Vietnam time), Brent oil price fell to 80.82 USD/barrel, down 0.54 USD, or 0.66%, compared to the previous session. WTI oil price was at 76.61 USD/barrel, down 0.28 USD, or 0.36%, compared to the previous session.
According to analysts, oil prices fell slightly due to concerns that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) may continue to raise interest rates and the US economy will fall into recession.
Japanese Yen slightly decreased
