Police in Nghe An assist families in finding 3 girls who ran away from home

On the afternoon of September 25, Quy Hop District Police handed over three girls, including Luong Thi H (born 2005), Vi Thi Cam L (born 2005) and Nguyen Thi Thu T (born 2007), all residing in Chau Hong commune, to their families.

On the evening of September 23, three girls went out together but did not return. Their families mobilized relatives and friends to search for them but to no avail. On the morning of September 25, Mr. Luong Van Neo went to the Quy Hop District Police to report that his daughter, Luong Thi H, had gone out for two days and had not returned.

Immediately after that, Quy Hop District Police coordinated with Chau Hong Commune Police to go to the area to verify and collect information. It is known that the 3 girls took a taxi from Chau Hong Commune to Chau Cuong Commune.

After nearly a day of active searching, at about 3:00 p.m. on September 25, the investigation agency of Quy Hop District Police and Chau Cuong Commune Police found the children at the house of Mr. Lu Van Cong residing in Muong Ham (Chau Cuong Commune). Quy Hop District Police brought the 3 children to the headquarters of Chau Cuong Commune People's Committee in a normal, stable health condition, without any injuries or abuse.

At the People's Committee of Chau Cuong commune, H stated: I stole money from my family and was afraid of being scolded, so I asked L and T to leave home and go to Vinh to find work. However, the money was only enough to rent a car to Chau Cuong commune, so the three children went to the house of her boyfriend, Lu Van D. - son of Mr. Lu Van Cong, residing in Muong Ham, to play and find a way to go to Vinh.

At 5:30 p.m. on September 25, after completing all legal procedures, the police handed over the three children to their families and relatives.
