As for the subject Mua A Vu, he jumped on an outside bus, got off at Dien Chau, then continued to take a bus to Muong Xen town to meet the remaining subjects. The remaining 3 subjects drove straight to Ky Son district, then drove back down to Tuong Duong to avoid detection by the authorities.
In the 3 days before the transaction, the subjects continuously moved to scout, and changed motels in Ky Son as well as Tuong Duong to avoid being monitored by the authorities. On the afternoon of December 7, 3 subjects ran to Ky Son, met Vu at the Phanh Dan motel. After staying overnight, at dawn, 4 subjects ran to the Vietnam-Laos border area to "receive the goods". However, they could not escape the authorities.
