Bring 7 million VND to Laos to buy drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - Bringing 7 million VND, Sach took a bus to Laos to buy drugs, then brought them home to sell. Before he could sell them, he was arrested by the police.
On the morning of September 26, Tan Ky District People's Court opened a criminal trial against Ho Viet Sach (born in 1988, residing in Nghia Thang hamlet, Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky district) for the crime of "Illegal possession of narcotics".
According to the indictment, at around 3:00 a.m. on July 19, 2017, Sach took a bus from Vinh bus station to Cau Treo border gate (Huong Son, Ha Tinh) to complete exit procedures to Laos. When arriving in Bolykhamxay province, Sach met an unfamiliar man of Lao nationality.

Sach bought 3 packages of synthetic drugs from this man for 7 million VND. After buying the drugs, Sach rented a room at a nearby motel. At 10:00 a.m. on July 20, 2017, Sach took the drugs back to Vietnam by bus through Cau Treo border gate.
When the bus arrived at Thanh Chuong district, Sach took the drugs and hid them on his person, then took the bus home. At around 4:00 p.m. on July 22, 2017, while Sach was walking in Ky Tan commune (Tan Ky), he was stopped by Tan Ky district police for an administrative check.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that in Sach's pants pocket there were 3 small packages containing 163 round, pink tablets, suspected to be synthetic drugs, so the Working Group made a record of the arrest and sealed the evidence.
The forensic conclusion of the Criminal Techniques Department of the Provincial Police concluded that the round tablets found in Sach's body were synthetic drugs, with a total weight of more than 16.5 grams.
At the investigation agency, Sach confessed to all his crimes in accordance with the documents and evidence in the case file.
The People's Court sentenced Ho Viet Sach to 5 years in prison.
