Attending the conference were comrades: Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh City People's Council; representatives of the police, departments and offices of the Vinh City People's Committee and Trung Do Ward.

Trung Do Ward has nearly 17,000 residents, of which more than 4,000 are temporarily residing to study and do business in the area. Developing service types such as pawnshops, internet, rental booths... have the potential to cause many complications. However, thanks to the attention of authorities at all levels accompanying the people, the movement "All people protect national security" of the ward in recent years has had a great influence.

In 2021 and early 2022, the ward built and launched 5 models of "Fire prevention and fighting safe school"; "Safe school in terms of security and order" at Trung Do Primary School; Fire prevention and fighting safe residential area model at Dung Quyet block, grade 11; "Public fire fighting point" model at Dung Quyet block and grade 6; Continue to maintain 2 models including "Community camera", "Self-management student" at Vinh Trung apartment building, Phuong Hoang block.

In preventing, combating and denouncing crimes, in 2021 and the first 8 months of 2022, the people provided 190 pieces of information related to security and order, helping the police discover and handle 50 cases, arrest 78 subjects; handle 16 cases of drug trafficking and possession; 10 cases of property theft; 4 cases of gambling; 2 wanted subjects; 1 case of impersonating a police officer to defraud and appropriate property; 2 cases of illegal trading and possession of fireworks.

At the same time, 11 subjects were sent to compulsory drug rehabilitation, 12 subjects were sent to community drug rehabilitation and management; 10 subjects were reformed and educated to progress and integrate into the community; 15 internal conflicts among the people were successfully reconciled.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Hong Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the cadres and people of Trung Do ward in the past time. In addition, he also emphasized: Always uphold and affirm that the movement is a mass cause that requires comprehensive leadership of the local government and active participation of the local people, especially the grassroots police force is the core to promote the movement. It is necessary to replicate advanced models, spread the movement throughout the city and the whole province, creating high consensus in the whole province and the whole society.

Party committees and authorities at all levels need to regularly organize periodic meetings between forces, departments and sectors to adjust the movement to suit their sectors and local people. The process of implementing the movement must be integrated with the local economic and social development program. Strengthen grassroots arms, work with the people, and establish forums to listen to people's opinions. Gradually build a solid people's security posture.

Comrade Le Hong Vinh emphasized that each citizen should be an observer, a supervisor, actively contribute, criticize, and give suggestions to help build the movement "All people protect national security" in the locality to become more widespread, practical and effective to make Trung Do ward take the lead in economic and social development of Vinh city.
