Murray left the trophy in his car and went to the club to train. The trophy was then taken to a classroom for children to draw. However, Mourinho asked two children in the class to replace the trophy with a replica made of cardboard. The Portuguese coach then appeared in a fancy car outside the classroom to collect the trophy and add it to his already huge trophy collection.
During that time, Murray kept track of the Cup's progress via a signal from the car. But when the car returned, what the world number one received was a fake Cup.
The ad was released just as Wimbledon was about to begin, with Andy Murray, the defending champion and top seed, having won the grass-court Grand Slam twice in 2013 and 2016.
Murray suffered a hip injury before Wimbledon, leaving fans worried he would not be at his best for the tournament. Meanwhile, Mourinho had just received the sad news of his father's death. The Man Utd boss had to return to Portugal to arrange his father's funeral and probably didn't notice the commercial he had just appeared in.
