In the late autumn days, coming to the mountainous district of Quy Hop, passing through Con village, Chau Quang commune, you will see small white reed fields along Nam Ton stream. Con village was formerly a part of Muong Khun Tinh, an ancient Muong of the Thai people in Nghe An. Mr. Luong Viet Thoai, a resident of Con village, said: There used to be a lot of reeds, but the mining in the area has changed the flow of Nam Ton and the area of reed fields has also narrowed.
