(Baonghean.vn) - During 2 days (August 30-31), due to the influence of storm No. 4, there was heavy rain in Ky Son district, causing landslides on many roads in Nam Can, Ta Ca and Nam Can communes.

The road from Noong De village to Huoi Poc village of Nam Can commune (Ky Son) suffered a landslide, causing traffic congestion.

On the road from Muong Xen town to Muong Tip commune, a landslide occurred in Nhan Ly village, Ta Ca commune. Due to the large volume of landslides, people are facing many difficulties in traveling on these roads.

Faced with the above situation, the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station has dispatched 3 working groups to coordinate with local authorities of communes to inspect vulnerable areas with high risk of landslides to post warning signs to inform people of the danger so they can take precautions. At the same time, the unit mobilized forces to help people move through landslide areas.

On August 31, Nam Can stream water swept away a buffalo belonging to Mr. Va Chu Rua (living in Nam Can village). This morning, heavy rain caused trees and rocks to fall on Highway 7B between Nam Can and Lien Son villages, causing traffic jams for many hours.

The People's Committee of Nam Can commune has coordinated with the Nam Can Border Guard Station to make efforts to clear the congestion and assign people to be on duty 24/7 to ensure people's safety during storms.

Faced with the above situation, Nam Can Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) sent 25 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and forces stationed in the area to overcome and clear the landslide site.
