In Thanh Chuong, heavy rains caused water to flow too quickly and rise in streams and creeks, causing flooding on some roads in Thanh Thuy and Thanh Xuan communes. Many roads passing through overflow points in village 2, village 7, Khe Mu (Thanh Thuy), Khe Den and Khe Nu (Thanh Xuan) overflows were continuously flooded and the water flowed rapidly.
Due to prolonged rain, flooding in mountainous communes and low-lying areas is quite erratic, significantly affecting people's traffic. At overflowing points, there are many potential dangers for passersby, especially children and the elderly.

In Nam Dan district, heavy rains brought down rocks and soil from Tret mountain, blocking the drainage culverts on National Highway 15 through Khanh Son commune, causing water to flow heavily on the road. In some locations, such as in hamlet 6 Khanh Son 1, a large amount of rocks and soil were swept away by the water and lay scattered on the road, causing traffic jams.
