9th grade student involved in traffic accident receives hundreds of millions of dong in support

Recently, many groups, individuals, volunteer groups, and fellow countrymen associations... inside and outside the province have made appeals to help Vinh. Some individuals, representatives of groups, associations, and groups have directly visited Ngoc Son commune to visit and give gifts to Ms. Nguyen Thi My - Vinh's mother.

According to Vinh's family, as of January 15, 2022, the family has received support from departments, organizations, many groups, individuals... inside and outside the province with an amount of more than 224 million VND, of which the amount sent through the account number of teacher Nguyen Dang Quy - Principal of Thanh Khe Secondary School, a son of Lam Hong hamlet, Ngoc Son commune is 47,300,000 VND; through the account number of Mr. Nguyen Dang Huong - Vice Chairman of Ngoc Son Commune People's Committee is 39,460,000 VND.

After 23 days of treatment at Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi), Nguyen Thanh Vinh was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for care and rehabilitation on January 13, 2022. When he was transferred, he was awake, opened his eyes, and moved his arms and legs slightly, although he was still paralyzed on one side of his body.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai - a relative who took care of Vinh in the past at the hospitals, after being transferred to the Provincial General Hospital, Vinh's health worsened, he had seizures and foamed at the mouth many times. From the Provincial General Hospital, Vinh was transferred to Hospital 115. Doctors there said that Vinh's injuries would require long-term treatment to have any hope of recovery.

Ms. Hai added that when Vinh was transferred to the Provincial General Hospital, she had to be quarantined, so another brother took her place to take care of Vinh. “I will only be able to go to Hospital 115 in the next few days. Vinh’s treatment will be very difficult, while the family’s conditions are too poor, and we don’t know what Vinh’s health will be like. I hope everyone will continue to care, encourage, and help his family,” Ms. Hai said.
