Young man sentenced to 20 years in prison for participating in drug trafficking
(Baonghean.vn) - Luong Trung Xo tried to buy and sell drugs to make money and ended up paying the price with a 20-year prison sentence.
On May 8, the People's Court of Nghe An province opened a first-instance criminal trial of defendants Luong Trung Xo (born in 1976, residing in Luong village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district) and Sam Van Tuoc (born in 1980, residing in Pao 1 village, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district). The two defendants were prosecuted for "illegal drug trafficking".

According to the indictment, on January 28, 2017, Luong Trung Xo and Sam Van Tuoc were selling 340 grams of heroin and 89.9 grams of synthetic drugs in Luong village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district when they were caught red-handed by the investigation police agency and Que Phong district police.
During an emergency search of Luong Trung Xo’s house, the authorities continued to seize 33.8 grams of heroin and 51.1 grams of synthetic drugs. Xo kept these drugs for trading purposes.
The trial ended, the panel sentenced defendant Luong Trung Xo to 20 years in prison, defendant Sam Van Tuoc to 17 years in prison for "illegal drug trafficking".
