In Nghe An, through the project, dozens of small-scale bamboo production groups have been established. Of these, there are 3 core groups: Ang Dua village group, Thong Thu commune, Pu Khoong village, Dong Van commune, Que Phong district and Xet 2 village, Chau Thang commune, Quy Chau district (Nghe An). In addition, small-scale farmer groups have been trained and their capacity for group management and operation has been enhanced.

Through these preliminary processing group models, the price of bamboo raw materials purchased by the groups increased by about 40% compared to selling to traders. This also pushed up the selling price of bamboo raw materials in the region by an average of 20-30% compared to previous years. In addition, a bamboo enterprise in Nghe An has signed many export orders for bamboo and rattan products.

In 2022, the project awarded FSC certification to a group of 212 households growing and exploiting 938 hectares of bamboo forest (related to bamboo) in Dong Van commune (Que Phong district). Being granted this certification is not only a "passport" for Nghe An bamboo and bamboo materials to reach demanding markets such as the US, Japan, Europe... but also helps to preserve sustainable raw material areas.
