Russia: NATO is in conflict with Russia and using Ukraine as a proxy force
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement on April 8 that NATO is spreading the conflict in Ukraine by continuing to ship more weapons to Kiev.
"By continuing to supply more weapons to Ukraine, the alliance is spreading the conflict," spokeswoman Zakharova said, accusing "NATO of supporting the Kiev government in committing war crimes with impunity as well as the brutal treatment of civilians not only in Donbass but also throughout Ukraine."

The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman also said that although NATO denies that the alliance is part of the conflict in Ukraine, in fact, NATO is at war with Russia by using Ukraine as a proxy force.
"To contain Russia, NATO is strengthening its forces on its eastern flank and continues to draw Georgia, Finland, Sweden and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region into its sphere of influence," said Ms. Zakharova.
