Mr. Nguyen Huu Van - Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Luong town said: Due to historical factors, most of the current inner-city road system does not have sidewalks, or if they do, they are only about 1.5m wide, with some places only more than 50cm wide. In addition, the roads on the inner-city roads are mainly businesses, so the situation of selling goods encroaching on the sidewalk still occurs. To solve the situation of encroachment on the sidewalk, ensure security, order and traffic safety, the People's Committee of the town has established an urban regulation team, which inspects 2-3 times a week and collects thousands of advertising signs.
