Nghe An Education Department gives more than 700 Tet gifts to teachers and students in mountainous areas

At the same time, they expressed their gratitude to the parents who have accompanied education to care for the cause of the highlands.
Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh also said that in recent years, the education sector has paid much attention to education in mountainous areas. In particular, the "School Health" program aims to promote education, care, protection and management of children's health in schools to ensure comprehensive physical and mental development for students.

Accompanying the program, over the years, TH Group has spent tens of billions of VND to support free school milk for students in the highlands of Nghe An. Thereby, it has contributed to improving the physical and height indicators of students in the province, contributing to improving the stature of Vietnamese people.
Along with health care, the Education sector is continuing to advise and develop policies to support students in mountainous districts, including a Resolution to pilot the construction of 12 new-style boarding and semi-boarding schools.

This is also an important foundation to create conditions for students in disadvantaged areas to go to school, receive full care, develop comprehensive skills, create equal development opportunities for students in mountainous areas and is a premise to improve the quality of education.
Also on the morning of January 28, a delegation from the Department of Education and Training visited Quy Chau district to visit Chau Thang Primary School - a school that was severely affected by floods in late September 2023. After 4 months, with the efforts of teachers and local authorities, the school has basically overcome the damage to facilities and teaching equipment. Teaching and learning at the school have stabilized.

Through the results achieved, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training expressed their gratitude for the efforts of the school. At the same time, they hoped that the teachers would continue to care for and teach so that the children would be happy to go to school, and every day at school would be a happy day.
At Quy Hop 2 High School, the Director of the Department mentioned the quality of education in 11 mountainous districts. In the context of specific characteristics, in recent years, compared to other urban districts, the quality of education has many limitations.

Therefore, in the coming time, to improve the ranking of the province's education in the national education system, the head of the education sector hopes that schools will continuously innovate teaching methods and pay attention to mass education. At the same time, promote the program "Schools help schools, departments help departments" in providing professional support and training for teachers and students.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, the Department's leaders also sent New Year greetings to teachers, parents and students. The value of each gift for students is 500,000 VND, the value of each gift for teachers is 1,000,000 VND along with some other items.

Thus, during the 2 days of giving Tet gifts (January 27 and 28), the Education sector presented 720 gifts to teachers and students in disadvantaged areas. The total value of the gifts was 480 million VND.
