Nghe An: Rectifying the activities of newspapers, magazines, and electronic information sites

Accordingly, Program No. 05 aims to create a unified awareness of the importance and necessity of strengthening the direction, management and improving the quality and effectiveness of press and media activities in the current period; promoting the responsibility of the press direction, management and management agencies in the province. Along with that, creating self-awareness and exemplary behavior of each journalist; deploying and effectively implementing Plan 156-KH/BTGTW and the goal of "Building a professional, humane and modern press and media" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. At the same time, creating conditions for the press to develop healthily and in the right direction; resolutely and promptly correcting and handling violations, especially the situation of deviating from the principles and purposes; the situation of "saturation" of magazines and electronic information pages, creating a clear and positive change in press activities.

There are 8 specific tasks and solutions set out in the action program, including: Raising awareness of Party committees, Party organizations and Party members in propaganda and communication staff committees, press agencies about the position, role and responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; Continuing to innovate the Party's leadership method and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management of newspapers, magazines, internal announcements, internal newsletters, and information pages, ensuring the correct orientation of the Party; Innovating the content and methods of direction, orientation, and providing timely, accurate information, appropriate to task requirements and practical situations; maintaining discipline, order, and complying with information directions and orientations, especially for important, complex, and sensitive issues; Regularly review and summarize documents of the Party, State and province on the field of press and communication to suit the requirements and tasks of the province in the new situation, creating unity and synchronization with current regulations;

Rectify and strictly handle violations of the law in the activities of newspapers, magazines, information pages, and internal newsletters of the unit; focus on handling and overcoming the situation of deviating from the principles and purposes, "newspaperization" of electronic magazines, "newspaperization" of general electronic information pages, and social networks (if any); Strengthen Party building work, promote the leadership role of the Party, strengthen inspection and supervision of Party organizations and Party members in press agencies, especially heads of Party committees; Focus on organizing inspections, supervision, and handling of issues reported by the press; have solutions to overcome the shortcomings and limitations raised by the press, not allowing the situation of press reporting to drag on, heating up public opinion.

Carry out emulation and reward work well, promptly encourage and motivate the staff of press agencies, staff advising on the press field, press teams as well as thoroughly educate journalists to strictly implement professional ethics regulations, rules on using social networks and the code of conduct on social networks for Vietnamese journalists regarding not posting unverified information, information with sensitive elements, causing confusion in public opinion; proactively remind, check and strictly handle violations.
