Nghe An approves policy to attract investment in urban, commercial and service projects worth over 1.1 trillion VND in Nam Dan
The urban, commercial and service area has a scale of 33.62 hectares in Bac Thung block, Nam Dan town with a total preliminary investment capital of more than 1.1 trillion VND.

At this location, there will be calls for the construction of 3-storey townhouses, 4-storey townhouses combined with commercial areas, and 7-9-storey blocks as commercial areas; in addition, there will be a cultural house, kindergarten, technical infrastructure system, traffic roads, green areas, and water surfaces to accommodate about 3,000 residents upon completion.
Recently, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has approved the project investment policy. On that basis, the People's Committee of Nam Dan district will prepare preliminary requirements on the capacity and experience of the investor, submit them to the Department of Planning and Investment for appraisal, report to the Provincial People's Committee for approval as a basis for announcing the project list and organizing bidding to select investors according to regulations.
The call for investment in the Urban, Commercial and Service Area project in Bac Thung block will contribute to concretizing the Project to adjust and expand the General Construction Planning of Nam Dan town to 2035, approved by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in December 2022.
Accordingly, Nam Dan town with the planning boundary including the entire area of Nam Dan town and part of the area of 2 communes: Thuong Tan Loc and Xuan Hoa is identified as the political, administrative, economic, cultural, social and scientific and technical center of Nam Dan district and is the tourism and service center in the Vinh - Cua Lo - Kim Lien tourism triangle.
According to the Project, Nam Dan town is a type V urban area, a driving force for the development of Nam Dan district, oriented to upgrade and develop into a town (type IV urban area) by 2030.
