(Baonghean.vn) - Since the beginning of the epidemic, Nghe An has quarantined nearly 11,000 people. It is expected that tomorrow, the last citizen will finish the provincial quarantine period, while the whole province has not recorded any Covid-19 cases.
Speaking to Nghe An Newspaper reporters, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command said that on the morning of April 19, the authorities had issued certificates of completion of the 14-day quarantine period to more than 50 people. They were arranged vehicles to return to their localities.
"So far, Nghe An only has one person left in centralized quarantine at the provincial level. This person returned to the country through an unofficial route and tested negative for Covid-19. The centralized quarantine period will end tomorrow," said Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha.

According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha, since the beginning of the epidemic, Nghe An has received and quarantined nearly 11,000 people. Of these, about 7,000 people were quarantined at the provincial level. These are citizens returning from Laos and Thailand to avoid the epidemic. The rest are people related to domestic outbreaks, people with symptoms of the epidemic and people who returned to the country since the beginning of 2020. These citizens were quarantined at the district level, commune health stations...
Meanwhile, as of the evening of April 18, Nghe An still had 28 people in centralized quarantine at the district level. Most of them returned from the Bach Mai Hospital outbreak, the Me Linh outbreak... During the quarantine period, the citizens strictly followed all regulations, all citizens were in normal health and did not show symptoms such as difficulty breathing, cough, or fever.
At many quarantine points, citizens even donated money to support authorities in disease prevention before the end of their quarantine period.
To date, all citizens quarantined at the provincial level have been tested for Covid-19. By the morning of April 19, Nghe An had received test results from more than 7,000 people, all of whom were negative. Only about 300 cases are still waiting. Nghe An is fortunate to have not recorded any positive cases after nearly 4 months of fighting the pandemic./.
