Nghe An directs to focus on effective propaganda on Covid-19 prevention and control

The Covid-19 epidemic situation in the world, in the country, and in the province is becoming increasingly complicated. In particular, on June 14, 2021, in Vinh city, the first positive case of Covid-19 infection in the community was detected, the risk of an outbreak in the whole province is very high. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested localities and units to focus on effective propaganda to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the coming time.

Regularly and continuously propagate on mass media to raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people in complying with regulations on epidemic prevention and control, with the motto:"Timely - resolute - synchronous - based on people",to achieve the goal of ensuring the health and lives of the people, for the stability and development of the province.

Propaganda work needs to be highly focused throughout the political system and all classes of people, creating consensus, companionship, support, compliance, determination to control, prevent, and soon repel the epidemic in the area. Promote the role of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, especially residential communities, inter-family groups, hamlets, and residential groups in preventing and fighting the epidemic according to the motto "family keeps family, inter-family groups keep inter-family groups"; "go to every alley, knock on every door, check every subject".

Continue to propagate the tightening of epidemic prevention and control measures, especially implementing the 5K of the Ministry of Health throughout the province, especially at medical facilities, schools, offices, production facilities, markets, supermarkets, bus stations, on public transport, religious places of worship... Advise Nghe An people in localities not to return to their hometowns at this time as well as not to go to epidemic areas...

Strengthening propaganda on administrative management, tightening discipline and order in epidemic prevention and control work at all levels, sectors, localities and units, attaching responsibility to leaders, absolutely not being negligent or subjective; strictly handling cases causing serious consequences.

At the same time, promote models, typical examples, noble actions and gestures in organizing epidemic prevention and control work of the People, to promptly encourage people to join hands to support the "Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund"; support and motivate forces on the front line of epidemic prevention and control; support families in difficult circumstances; actively propagate and expand good practices in production and business in a state of living with the epidemic, in order to maintain economic development and ensure social security. At the same time, criticize and remind acts of violating policies and regulations on epidemic prevention and control.
