Nghe An: This afternoon, more than 1,200 9th grade candidates entered the provincial excellent student selection exam.
(Baonghean.vn) - This year's provincial excellent student exam for grade 9 was held in 3 localities: Vinh city, Do Luong district and Thai Hoa town to suit the epidemic context.
Selection examexcellent studentsThis year's 9th grade provincial exams will begin this afternoon (March 21) with 9 subjects. In particular, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, and Civic Education will be tested in essay format. Foreign Language will be tested in writing (including essay and multiple choice questions), testing 3 skills: listening, reading, writing, and language knowledge.
This year, the whole province has 1,286 candidates taking part in the exam. The whole industry has mobilized nearly 100 officials and teachers to work as invigilators (including backup invigilators).

According to plan, the exam will start this afternoon (March 21) with the first subjects being Literature, Math, Civic Education and will end tomorrow afternoon (March 22).
Due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, instead of being held at only one testing site, this year the exam will be held at three sites: Do Luong 1 High School, Thai Hoa High School and one testing site in Vinh city, Le Viet Thuat High School.
The exam site with the highest number of candidates is Do Luong 1 High School with candidates from Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Tan Ky, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts.

Before the exam takes place, according to regulations, all officials on duty and candidates participating in the exam will be tested for Covid-19. In addition, the exam sites have also prepared backup plans for F1 candidates.
