On April 26, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 2524/UBND-VX on the implementation of Directive 19/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

The Provincial People's Committee requests directors of departments, heads of provincial-level departments, branches and units; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to strictly implement Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated April 24, 2020 of the Prime Minister on continuing to implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation and documents issued by the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to deploy measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in Nghe An province.

According to Official Dispatch 2524, commercial service establishments (wholesale, retail, lottery, hotels, accommodation establishments, restaurants, eateries, etc.), sports training areas, historical sites, scenic spots, inter-provincial and intra-provincial public passenger transport activities are allowed to resume operations but must implement measures to ensure safety in disease prevention and control, such as: providing protective equipment for employees, measuring body temperature; fully arranging means and materials for hand washing, disinfection at the facility and ensuring distance when in contact, etc.

The Provincial People's Committee also requires no more than 30 people to gather and keep a minimum distance of 1 meter when in contact in public places, outside of offices, schools, and hospitals.

Thus, based on Directive 19 of the Prime Minister, the operation of non-essential service businesses (entertainment areas, beauty salons, karaoke, massage parlors, bars, dance clubs, etc.) is still temporarily suspended.
