Nghe An has 1/12 typical individuals nationwide in 'following Uncle Ho' in 2019 honored in Hanoi

On August 19, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with Vietnam Television and the Hanoi Party Committee to organize a National Exchange Program of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2019 called "Ho Chi Minh - Journey of Aspiration" on the occasion of the 3-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and 50 years of implementing his Testament.

The exchange program aims to introduce, promote and encourage typical examples from across the country, creating a widespread influence from good people and good deeds throughout the Party and society.

Attending the exchange were 12 typical examples nationwide, namely: Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao - former member of the Central Theoretical Council, Senior Expert, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Mr. Ngo Van Dau, Phu Thanh commune, Phu Tan district, An Giang province; Labor Hero Nguyen Duc Thin, Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province...

In particular, Nghe An was honored to have Mr. Sam Van Binh, Yen Luom village, Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district, as one of the typical participants in the exchange. He is known as a Meritorious Artist, a collector of literature, art, customs and practices of the Thai people and has made many contributions to the teaching of Thai language.

Speaking at the exchange, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle is an important, regular and long-term task of Party organizations, authorities at all levels, socio-political organizations, agencies, units and each cadre and Party member, contributing to building the Party, building a clean and strong political system, building Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.

The Prime Minister welcomed and commended the Central Propaganda Department, the agency assisting the Politburo and the Secretariat in directing the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW, for coordinating with agencies and units from the central to local levels to organize many practical activities to propagate the results of studying and following Uncle Ho, especially organizing exchanges of typical examples.

Along with propaganda activities, encouragement and replication of advanced models, the Central Propaganda Department has also coordinated with departments, ministries, branches and localities to organize many exchanges to honor typical collectives and individuals, good models and effective ways of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

The Prime Minister affirmed that this is a necessary and meaningful task to promote good people and good deeds so that society will have more and more beautiful flowers in the beautiful flower forest of the country as Uncle Ho taught.
