Nghe An recommends localities closely monitor people returning from high-risk areas

(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, in the province, there are 9 wards and communes in very high-risk areas and 2 communes in high-risk areas.

On November 13, Nghe An Department of Health issued a document announcing the update of the epidemic level according to Resolution No. 128 of the Government and Decision No. 4800 of the Ministry of Health.

Accordingly, the province currently has 9 communes in 4 districts assessed at level 4 (red zone, very high risk). These communes include Quynh Tan, Quynh Bang, Quynh Dien (Quynh Luu district), Nghi Phuong, Nghi Hoa, Nghi Dien, Quan Hanh town (Nghi Loc district), Tam Hop commune (Quy Hop district), and Chau Nhan commune (Hung Nguyen district).

There are 2 communes at level 3, which are Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district and Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district. 25 wards and communes at level 2 include Dong Vinh, Le Loi, Quan Bau, Hung Dung, Cua Nam, Trung Do, Nghi Phu, Hung Dong, Hung Loc, Nghi An (Vinh city); Hung Loi, Hung Phuc, Long Xa (Hung Nguyen district); Nghi Yen, Nghi Dong, Nghi Truong (Nghi Loc district); Yen Hop, Dong Hop (Quy Hop district); Nghia Lam, Nghia An (Nghia Dan district); Quang Phong ward (Thai Hoa town); Nam Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district); Ngoc Son commune (Quynh Luu district); Kim Lien commune (Nam Dan district).

The remaining 424 wards, communes and towns in the province are at level 1. Also in this document, the Nghe An Department of Health requested the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to direct local authorities, political organizations, especially community Covid teams to strengthen the screening and monitoring of people returning from epidemic level 3 and level 4 areas in the province, organize quarantine, health monitoring and testing in accordance with the regulations in Official Dispatch No. 5022/TTCH-SYT dated October 10, 2021 of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center.

For areas assessed as level 3 and level 4 epidemics: Implement epidemic prevention measures in accordance with the regulations in Decision No. 3869/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee. People are especially encouraged to minimize unnecessary travel from very high-risk areas (level 4) to areas with lower epidemic levels.
