(Baonghean.vn)- From March 12, people who come into contact with working delegations from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, the Voice of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha will not need to be quarantined at home.

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued an urgent dispatch on implementing quarantine and health monitoring for cases related to Vietnam Airlines flight VN0054.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Health, the test results of members of the working delegations of the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, the Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha all tested negative.

Therefore, the People's Committee of Nghe An province announces that those who have contacted and worked with the Working Group of the Minister of Planning and Investment in Nghe An and the Delegation of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Voice of Vietnam Radio and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on March 5-6, 2020 do not have to quarantine at home, health monitoring is carried out in accordance with current guidelines.

Previously, implementing Official Dispatch No. 1120/CV-BCĐ dated March 7, 2020 of the National Steering Committee and Official Dispatch No. 5529-CV/TU dated March 9, 2020 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on Covid-19 epidemic prevention, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1243/UBND-VX dated March 9, 2020 on quarantine and health monitoring for Covid-19 epidemic prevention, accordingly, it directed the compilation of a list and review of subjects who had close contact with the Working Group of the Minister of Planning and Investment, the Working Group of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, the Voice of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and depending on the level to carry out quarantine and health monitoring.

On March 11, 2020, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control issued Official Dispatch No. 1204/CV-BCĐ on quarantine and health monitoring for cases related to flight VN0054 with detailed instructions: For those in direct contact or close contact with positive cases, quarantine must be carried out within 14 days from the date of contact; For those in contact with these subjects, quarantine at home until this subject has a negative test result.
