Nghe An: Industrial value in the 2016 - 2020 term is expected to increase by 18.6%
(Baonghean) - According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, in the 2016 - 2020 term, Nghe An's industrial and construction value grew quite well, the industrial and construction production value in the 2016 - 2020 period is estimated at 15.2%, of which industry increased by 18.6%, construction increased by 10.04%/year.
According to the analysis, the internal structure of the industrial sector continues to shift rapidly and in the right direction. The proportion of the processing and manufacturing industry increases and the proportion of the mining and mineral processing industry gradually decreases. The value of processed and manufactured industrial products in 2019 in Nghe An accounted for about 70% of the total industrial production value.

The beverage industry, construction materials production, high technology, textiles, mineral exploitation; electricity and water production and distribution have all developed. Nghe An has many good industrial products with high brands in the market such as: Cement, corrugated iron, beer, milk, textiles, MDF wood, all kinds of construction bricks, electricity, fertilizer, sugar cane...).
The small-scale industry and craft villages continue to receive attention and direction for development. Up to now, the whole province has 164 craft villages and nearly 450 villages with crafts have been recognized by the province.

Infrastructure of the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks has received synchronous investment, achieving some important results. Nghe An has attracted large investors to invest in construction and business of industrial park infrastructure (VSIP, WHA Industrial Zone 1, Hoang Thinh Dat), creating an important premise to attract secondary projects.
Nghe An has completed the technical infrastructure of Nam Cam, Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa, Nghia Dan Industrial Parks... and deployed investment in building infrastructure for 32 industrial clusters with an area of 467 hectares and hundreds of enterprises have invested in construction.
