Nghe An wins Gold Medal at the 26th North Central Photo Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - The work "Morning Dew in Vinh City" by author Nguyen Canh Hung won the Gold Medal at the 26th North Central Photo Festival in Nghe An.
On the morning of May 17, in Vinh City, the opening ceremony of the 26th North Central Region Art Photography Festival took place, launching the photo contest "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's teachings".

Attending the event were Mr. Vu Quoc Khanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; Vu Viet Dung - Deputy Head of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture & Sports, along with representatives of the departments, the Association of Literature and Arts of 6 provinces in the North Central region; members of the Association of Photographic Artists and many photography lovers.

The 26th Art Photography Festival was launched in early March 2019 and ended in mid-April 2019 with a requirement that each author could only submit no more than 8 works. After more than a month of launching, the Organizing Committee received 1,503 works from 237 authors from 6 provinces in the North Central region.
Through strict judging rounds, the Festival selected 118 works by 65 authors to display. Nghe An delegation had 29 works by 20 authors participating in the exhibition, including two works: "Suong mai thanh Vinh" by Nguyen Canh Hung won the Gold Medal, "Le hoi cau ngu" by author Ho Sy Long won the Bronze Medal.
