Accordingly, the price of raw water for Nghe An is currently nearly 2,000 VND/m3, while in other provinces and cities it is only about 900 VND/m3, leading to an increase in the cost of raw water in Nghe An. Specifically, in 2015, the cost of raw water was only 8.19 billion VND, but in 2016, after the above project came into operation, the cost of raw water increased to 39.87 billion VND and by 2017, this cost increased to 56.23 billion VND.
Recently, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Letter No. 8463 on abolishing the regulation of increasing raw water prices every 2 years for this Group. Accordingly, the roadmap of adjusting raw water prices every 2 years, each time increasing by 12%, within 14 years starting from 2016 to 2030 will be abolished.
